Well, speaking of Muslims, while I am making the pie--actually still contemplating making the pie--I am also trying to watch tv, and Chris Matthews' Hardball is on. Extremely interesting. He was interviewing a retired top general, Barry McCaffree (probably not spelled right). Matthews asked him "How many Iraqis do we need to kill to convince them we are trying to help them?" Very powerful questions. Then he interviewed Michael Ware, a Time correspondent who has just returned from Fallujah. Things are not going very well there according to Ware. He was discussing how Iraq was a secular society under Saddam, that Hussein really controlled and kept out the Islamists. Now that Saddam has gone and we are attacking them, we have actually created an Islamist influx.

Hardball plays twice more on MSNBC tonight in my region of the country. I think watching it is definitely worthwhile.
