Yea, I know... I think it's self evident that domestic demand will be supplied by domestic sources in areas where we are net exporters. I gave the example of healthcare and finance [I think] where falling dollar wouldn't effect local prices in an upward bias... I thought we were talking about the US economy in general:

<US-invoked global recession will decrease demand for commodities, decrease trade, decrease energy demand across the board. >*

My point is that for the economy as a whole, falling dollar will pressure prices upward in unprecidented ways due to the massive amounts of raw materials, goods, and even some services, which the US economy isn't even involved any more.... NO? I mean, you can't compare this to any other time in history can you?
