I actually kind of agree with that sentiment. I met a doctor a few years ago from Missouri that drove all the way up here so he could be guaranteed a bear kill. He was put up a stand and for a fee of $10,000 a bear was produced for him to obliterate. The good doctor was over seventy years old.

The worst hunters up here are the Americans. One usually sees them first thing in the a.m. at Wal Mart in full camo gear getting supplies, i.e. egg mcmuffins etc. Most of them are so out of shape they can barely waddle back to their SUVs and motor coaches.

Last year one of these intrepid hunters blew a hole at what he thought was a bear approaching camp. It turned out to be his son who was approaching camp and not a bear, he was left alone with his dead son for another 12 hours before a float plane came to pick him and the dearly departed.

I don't know anything about the incident with the people getting killed but I do know you need to approach mother nature with respect.
