Message 20797197 Mr. Martin is hoping to to repair somewhat strained relations with the United States following trade difficulties over softwood lumber and mad cow disease and Canada's refusal to participate in the Iraq war. It all reminds me of the end of the Mel Gibson flick Braveheart after he's dead and Robert the Bruce is meeting English forces to affirm his vassalage.. One English general says to the other... I hope your arse is clean.. You are about to have it kissed by a King .... Of course in the flick Bruce got his dignity and kicked ass finally but.... sigh... we have no army... no subs... no ... we got squat..
