You could roll the sand between your fingers to get it really smooth, then spray it with clear glossy Tremclad for a diamond finish, sputter german at it and then well...

You could put it in Mars Bars, the new slogan would be "a little bit of Mars in every bite."

If you missed spots with the Tremclad you could ignore that as no one will notice once it is in the Mars Bars.
Your sand sounds cool, my sand sounds like, well, coloured sand.

I have to learn to write that tech stuff more convincingly. Sand is truly the future of all mining. Once full matter conversion is achieved the value of sand will become immense, in it's granular form it has several valuable characteristics. It comes in small pieces. It doesn't scream when you cook it. Most kids already know how to make pies with it if the converter breaks down.
