What I've been told is this, when you light a particular color of candle and say a prayer, that prayer goes up to God with the power of the candle. Some people don't believe but do it any way because that's how they were raised. What I believe is this, you don't hafta say prayers in a church for them to be answered. You don't hafta light candles or say a Novena for your prayers to be answered. What you do hafta do is believe in the power of prayer and the rest is just gravy. Believeing is the key............but that's suppose to be a secret so mum's the word ok? Happy Thanksgiving!!!
