Maybe mother-in-law's turkey isn't poisoned. Maybe she is secretly serving up roadkill and wants an excuse for the unusual odor. But Rambi will be too smart for that after meals on the DAR mountain. lol -- by gosh, I'll bet you're right. That ain't the aroma of poisoned turkey! It's the aroma of fresh-baked roadkilled possum from up on the holler!! YUMM!!! (o:

Choosie, Happy late Tgiving! Weren't those wonderful DARian banquets! No one could stew up a possum banquet like us. I was proud of our roadkill culinary prowess. Your one-eyed holiday sounds great! I spewed over the peeingpuppy. CW's cat does that at unexpected moments. We all survived the turkey, but the oysters concerned us. Luckily, Ammo hid them behind the bread basket and never passed them around. At the end of the meal, my mother-in-law said, Oh no! We forgot to serve the oysters! And everyone tried to look very sad and regretful and full. I am waiting for the boys to get back. They went into Dallas to get CW's guitar and amp for our traditional singalong. We drink weird martinis and play all the musicals we know. Ammo and I do a killer version of Summer Lovin' from Grease. The apex of the evening is CW and Dan singing Lily's Eyes from Secret Garden. We are always pretty blitzed by then so I have never really HEARD it. I may not have even played it, but just thought I did. No one cares.
