My impression (correct me if I'm wrong) is SCKT products either have short life spans (as the Bluetooth etc. gets integrated into devices without need of a card) or occupy niche areas that may be profitable but by definition are small. So that leaves SCKT's engineers -- about 30 of 'em, maybe. But they're not likely to be so great that it'd be worth buying out a public company. I forget exactly -- didn't this zoom to 50 or 90 or something back in 2000? Whatever drove that enthusiasm might still apply now, but the market was pretty inebriated then. - Charles
