<Otherwise, why would he keep sending special envoy to China?>

You think that's cause he's "anxious"??? He is a very lucky man to have an obvious cause that is obviously just and right to work on for his lifes path. I don't think he's 'anxious' becuase he is taking action!!

<Although I would not be surprised if he completely convert himself into a real spiritual monk as he getting older.>

I think you're confusing the terms... "real spiritual monks" can be out in the world taking action, OR in the temple.

<He already said at least once that he wants to go back to Tibet as a spiritual leader, and stay outside politics, although no one can be certain that whether he will keep his promise.>

ROFLMAO!! You're worried about the Dali keeping his promise??? That's rich. Maybe he'll get in there and attack China eh?? LOL

<That said, generally speaking, a true Buddhist should content with a very simple live, and usually should be very happy.>

That all depends on the worldly situation... "right action" is a very important concept. Just because he travels and speaks doesn't mean he's not simple and happy. I think you're putting the cart before the horse... because the Buddha noticed that money and power tend to cause the mind to get very busy lose sight of the simple truths has been translated into "poor simple life is a necessity". The Buddha never said to sit and meditate as the Huns chop your head off.
