Yiwu grow up and admit the right to self-determination of peoples. I have lived in Tibet and work there about 4 months a year and you should ask them if they want to be part of China which I can certainly assure you they do not. Cultural genocide ain't pretty man.

"As for Taiwan and Tibet issues, they are domestic affairs of China! Nothing more to say!"

This has been a very educational session for me! I did not think real, live intelligent people still thought this way! A previous poster is right. You are brainwashed! Why are you so afraid of free speech and criticism of the practices of China's ruling class?

You gave graphic examples of man's ability to be cruel to his fellow man. We all deplore torture, including its occurence in Tibet prior to the Chinese invasion of 1956. However that child (the Dalai Lama)who managed to escape the invasion was a lot younger than 20 years old. He was not the one conducting the torture.

<whatever. As for Taiwan and Tibet issues, they are domestic affairs of China! Nothing more to say!>

Actually, the linear thinking on those two and Hong Kong is on the wane..

LOL, heave ho, carry the party line!!

Common, can't you make up some more LAME stuff about invading Tibet for their own good or SOMETHING?? I like the one about 'bad things' happening under his rule as an excuse for the annexation personally... Especially since he was a TEENAGER! ROFLMAO Really Yiwu, of all the despots in the world and you try to paint the ONE PERSON [OK, Ghandi] who is REALLY beyond reproach by all accounts [OK, maybe he has sex a couple times, but ML King, and Mandella has him beat there I hear]. Too funny, I really would like you to say Tibet isn't better off under his rule... just so I can book mark it? Please humor me.

Don't worry, in the US they said they invaded IRAQ partly because the women there were so badly treated. Same sick 'spin', so you're in good company... we even called a Nobel Peace prize winner [Mandela] a despot, just like you guys!

Besides, it's your own liability now... there is much more to learn from people letting them be free to express themselves than by simply occupying them. Stupid really.
