One thing they don't mention is how the China trade is choking our intermodal infrastructure. This is the one thing that could slow some of the growth. At one point last month there were about 75 large container vessels at anchor outside port of LA / Long Beach due to bottlenecks and delays in the rail and port infrastructure. That's even after many shipments had already been diverted. If people cannot get goods on time in some critical industries, they may source some items locally again.
