As of end Q304 SONS had an accumulated deficit of approx. $790 million which roughly translates into $3.17 per share - So... if SONS is acquired by another co. can THAT co. use that deficit to reduce their tax bill AND would that accumulated deficit ADD to the price that SONS can fetch? If this is true, then SONS could sell now for approx $10.05 per share
