As the crow flies that's a long ways.

I used to have to get blanket permits from the Dept of Motor Vehicles it move cranes around N California Bay Area. A blanket permit covering seventy five miles as the crow flies took in all the Bay Area and out to Sonora, Sacramento and down almost to Merced. Three hundred miles puts me out in the middle of Nevada, well into Oregon or the outskirts of L.A.
I'd hap a guess one could find plenty low to non appreciating properties is such a huge area.
