Wouldn't Euroland benefit from a strengthening currency much as the US did in the late nineties?

Perceived safe value, direct investment, bull market in equities denominated in Euros, all those things.

Gold near the top of the two year trading channel when expressed in Euros. Which will be the store of value going forward?
