Yeah well, it's a dog-eat-vomit sort of world, we all consume something, don't we ... and we are consumed, the question is only, By what ... for each consumer there must be a consumee, or if you prefer, consommée, such is the nature of the broth of consumption in which we struggle to consume ... do feelings enter the equation, sure they do, only peripherally though, and in fleeting fashion, for instance i look around here and listen to the screams of dying electrons in this great consumption of bandwidth, start to wonder why, begin to feel something that could possibly in a stretch be described as remorse, then shrug, in reasonable confidence that at least those electrons will not now be murdering any common sense on some other poor defenseless thread
