In fact, I have no idea why I was "put" on this earth nor does it particularly concern me. If my presence here is part of a "divine" purpose, then so be it. And if it is simply a function of some extraordinary biochemistry and biophysics which we do not understand, then that is also fine. Like you, I am also joyful to be alive and to participate in the wonders of the world. If this feeling is due to God's Holy Spirit, as you call it, then that's great, and if it is just because it's a nice day and I'm happy, then that's OK too.
