Keep in mind that ones with most of their assets in SA are valued differently (ie. more negatively) than the ones with their assets outside SA but in other parts of Africa due to the strong RAND and Black Empowerment issues. Ones that have a lot of assets in SA and that are listed in the U.S. or Canada are DROOY, RANGY, HMY, GFI, AU, ASA (closed end fund), GBN, CALVF. Canadian junior miners/explorers that operate in Africa outside of South Africa that I know of are Nevsun, Birim, Tan Range (Jim Sinclair's company), Kansai, Golden Star, SearchGold, Semafo, Great Quest, Randgold Resources, Mano River, Afriore, Axmin, Cassidy Gold, Orezone, St. Jude.
