That same old nonsense sure is getting tatty. Sounds like the quoted source is unaware of the fact that Fanny and Freddy are the heavy duty borrowers in the money market pits.

Not to mention the ultra-low cash on hand at the mutual funds and the highly-margined state of many retail investors.
