Exactamundo. In solidarity with their cowardly, belligerent leader Shrub, the right-wing flatly refuse to take up arms except against the occasional deer or wild turkey. They will, however, buy the latest shoot-em-up car-chase videogame which they can enjoy in the safety of their living room after a (burp) holiday dinner. -------- After having sent 40% of our troops into Iraq without sufficient body armor (actually it ended up being 100% since they've had to do some serious modification for the actual battlefield conditions) and most of our troops there without armored vehicles.... they promised to have all vehicles armored by August. They're still not all armored AND even the armored ones are being blown up by IEDs and the like. Shrub wants to restart SDI but our military can't even make well-armored jeeps for 150,000 troops? Who is he kidding? Oh yes, they're getting ready to deploy several thousand more troops (delaying leave or moving up deployments) in the next few weeks. I don't believe there will be much fanfare in the corporate media about that.
