I don't think I've gone to a mall in years, but that's just because I don't like malls. I don't claim to understand the dynamics of what is happening internationally. But it's important to at least be aware of the economic reality beyond our shores. From what I read I think the Chinese desire to unpeg their currency against the dollar is worrying- and I'm not sure what currents that will set in motion in the global currency and equity markets.
