I guess I need to practice. :) Bush's first speeches after 9/11 did nothing to make me feel better, unlike they did so many. The use of "evil" was a door opening to very bad things. I like smarmy for Reed because of that odd look to his face and the slicked back hair, and the twist to his mouth when he speaks in that almost dead monotone. If I were to use "evil" for someone, he would rate. The kind of man who makes the hair stand up on the back of your neck and start locking up the chickens.
