That is NOT what I said.

I invested in VLNC for the future after I made money on a Cisco speculation where I sold my $17 shares to a greater fool at $24.

VLNC is a tiny company where you can have a declining BV and still be happy.

Have you ever worked in high tech? Have you ever designed and brought a product to market?

If I start an R&D project with $1M and get the product out the door to customers with a $1.27 left in the bank, then my book value will have declined by nearly 100%... who gives a flying fig my BV vanished if what matters is expectations for future sales down the road?

Cisco, OTOH, is a mature company. It makes a great deal of money yet none of it is returned to the shareholders. Not a single penny! With more competition from Juniper, Asia and other fronts, why would I want to buy a company that can't return value in good times to shareholders?

Your arguments are bankrupt and you are frustrated so you've resorted to personal attacks. Nice going.

"Looks like good olde Kirk relies on the "greater fool" theory."

Was that you who bought my Cisco shares at $24?
