peek-a-boo. I took your name in vain in a post or two, so I guess I should say hi. :) Hunting is a "this or that" sort of thing for me, but I've tried hard to get to know the boys around here, and that affects how I view it. but, oddly (or not), it seems to make me see a little different than people with land and/or money to hunt as they wish. I think of how things have changed so from when people had the roam of the land here. When it was a community and a swimming hole wasn't something kept to themselves. Such memories of visiting here as a child and being led by my cousins, our machetes cutting away brush, as we made our way to a good spot. And our favorite "big rock" to climb. And the waterfall. So many boundaries now. I'm not a vegetarian. I don't think it's in me to cry over that for an animal. Do I not like senseless slaughter? Nope, I don't. But I don't see it as the same. But I always grieve when a deer dies. Why is that? There is something about them. And the fox. And the lynx. And so many others. As someone who has farmed, though, I can imagine the feeling of bringing home a meal by spending all day, or days, out waiting. Does that make any sense?

I bought gold and foreign stocks- they have done well.

I think diversification, and a flight to value at the same time, is all we can do as investors. (imo)
