gz, a) MICROPROCESSORS (MPUs) - INTC, AMD - OCTOBER SHOWS SEASONAL DECLINE AND MORE SEVERE SEASONALITY OF RECENT MONTHS. Microprocessor sales for the month of October totaled $2.1 billion, down 41.2% M/M (vs. 18-yr median of down 29.3% M/M), and down 6.3% Y/Y (vs. 18-yr median of up 29.4% Y/Y). If true, Intel mid-quarter update may be not be very positive. Curious that AMD thinks that it was related to the US elections, but AMD US sales are only in 20s percentage wise, vs. the rest of the world. Joe
