BUSH FAMILY VALUES

Re: talking about "family values"

Listening to Right Wingers talk about family values is like getting a facial from a leper.

The kitchen table discussion centers around ancient and completely discredited superstitions and fairy tales (aka Bible Study), lessons in bigotry and intolerance for any stranger, xenophobia, greed and way too much lust.

Seeing some of the Mormon gaggles, I'm reminded of Groucho Marx's line about the couple on "You Bet Your Life" who had 12 kids. Groucho quipped that he liked his cigar too, but that he took it out every once in a while.
