I would be happy to let citizens of the blue states leave the country peacefully if they choose. I only object to their dismantling and breaking apart my country as the pro-slavery secessionists tried to do a couple centuries ago. Re. Muslim anger - I do strongly believe it is disastrously counter-productive to attempt to appease ones enemies. Re. Israel as "what made the Muslims so angry", I acknowledge Israel does make Muslims angry. But what doesn't? Why are so many of the southern Thai Muslims angry, and the Nigerian Muslims, and the Chinese Muslims, etc., etc., etc. We are powerful and non-Muslim. That alone makes us a target for Islamist hatred.
