Another good website to get a better appreciation for the grimness of the situation:

fallujapictures.blogspot.com

This comment from the website owner:

I'll take a lot of crap for doing this site. Twenty times a day trash pollutes my inbox about how I need to "remember 9/11" and don't I know "we were attacked." I remember. I watched it from my house. In real life. Not on a big screen TV in a nice safe red state.

... reminds us what polling tells us - a large number of people still believe that Iraq had something to do with 9/11, directly or indirectly, even though nothing could be further from the truth.

Another site, very graphic:

The Guardian
On Sunday, 13 Iraqis were killed and dozens injured in Baghdad when US helicopters fired on a crowd of unarmed civilians.

Sorry for the delayed response... been a bit busy.

Steve, you changed the subject altogether. I was discussing the post-election divisivness. Just in case you're still interested in getting back to that, I'll save you the clicking and paste my remark:

scary thought is that our extremist have control

I hate to be disagreeable, and I'm sure you won't like what I am going to say, but I think that this time the post-election grapes are sourer then ever. I think that the losing side is going all out to demonize the winners (and to rationalize their own loss). Of course - isn't it obvious - Only extremists, fanatics - or dumb, or blind people - could ever fail to see the shining bright light emanating from Leftism! -g.
