I think it would be hard to live with someone who saw the world, and its problems, and its solutions, in a completely different way. Affinity is based on a number of things- but one of the ways people like to bond is over ideas. They like to bond over ideas they like, and they like to bond over ideas they dislike. On the net almost all you have is bonding over ideas- at least in 3d you have all that hormonal stuff going on. Smells- seems to me I read recently that the mates we choose has a lot to do with smell.
