"Israel is by far the largest recipient of US foreign aid. The US financial support to Israel has been exceeding the three billion mark per year since 1985, the majority of which is in military aid.

The amount of military "grants" which is on the record, declassified, totals just over 2 billion annually and dates back 10 years. Egypt gets just under 2 billion annually, dating back to the same period. Its a US present for signing their peace accord.

Courtesy of the American taxpayer, primarily benefiting the American Defense Industry.

The people of Israel have worked hard to develop their resources. However, they had a teensie bit of help...

...a teensie bit of help is helpful when you are surrounded by enemies who outnumber you 100 to 1 and have tried to wipe you out, repeatedly. However, the American aid didn't start until 1967, so can hardly be credited with the establishment of Israel's rule of law, universities, inventions, or other achievements.

And if you really want to see aid, check out the Palestinians, who are far and away the highest per capita recipients of foreign aid given to any group, ever, anywhere. Arafat got something like 15 Billion dollars during the Oslo years, and that doesn't count the immense UNWRA welfare scam, whereby refugees get a per capita stipend, generation unto generation. And who wonders why the birthrate in Gaza is 10 babies per woman?
