How interesting. My husband doesn't think the three stooges are funny at all. Neither did my father, and neither does my son. I just yelled upstairs to ask my husband if his father liked the three stooges. His answer was, "No, but my mother liked Laurel and Hardy." Everyone in my family and his worships the Marx brothers. So I propose that it can't be gender, but might be DNA.
