Chinese are moving along fast, need oil

High oil prices will be huge benefit to Iraqi citizens if they finally get a share of the profits.

But I wonder what kind of pressure China will apply to ME suppliers if producers get extra greedy. The entire West will be facing the same problem and lined up politically to find a solution.

If all the newly rich Chinese get to buy Lego for their toys, plastics for packaging, and fiberglass boats , all made from oil constituents then it is indeed time to stop burning oil in electric powerplants.

There is a possibility that Iran is building nuclear power plants to get ahead of the curve, and planning to sell their oil instead of burning it.

A a time soon for the US to reconsider the use of nuclear power plants.
Probably GWB will wait for an appropriate time which would be when the public becomes incensed enough by fuel prices to tolerate the perceived hazards of nuclear plants in their vicinity.

Meanwhile we dig deeper and more often for the black gold.
