For every $100 earned, Americans are saving just 40 cents! Its pretty hard for some people to save money, because they have to turn over half their money in taxes, before they even buy food or shelter for themselves, because paying for subsidies to apple growers and cheese makers and building trams and highways to nowhere in West Virginia is more important than the person (who earned the money to begin with), buying food and shelter for themselves. The Govt however looks at a person's entire earnings as their own, and any cuts in taxes for ridiculous services, as something, the Govt has to pay for. They have it arse backwards.
