There's some truth in that, but imo it's not that hard to not be banned. Unless you want to be banned. For some reason.

Have you seen any posts that resulted in banning by Grainne because of political content?

No! I totally disagree with you, and let me explain why.

If you disagree with someone's post, opinion, point of view,etc., you are communicating with them on a level where you are not destroying them personally. While people may not really enjoy someone tearing their post apart, if it is done logically and with some degree of politeness, or at least not violently or viciously, you have not eaten away at the poster's own self image or really destroyed their feelings.

They can then respond on the same level, hopefully, and a good conversation might be had, or it might not, but there isn't blood everywhere that the next posters have to step through.

Fancy prose is not required.
