To my mind that’s the great loss of this last election.

The USA is a great country but there are (in my opinion) greater threats than terrorism. How likely is that a typical US citizen will die in a terrorist attack - ( in my opinion) not bloody likely.

But what will happen if the dollar seriously implodes ( in my opinion ) a very likely possibility. Massive economic havoc is possible - affecting a large percentage of Americans.

The deficit will never be addressed by Bush because no one is allowed to voice a dissenting opinion. Yet ( in my opinion ) the deficit is far more dangerous than Saddam ever was.

Its just too bad the deficit wasn’t a real issue this last election. It’s also too bad the Republicans are such great politicians.
