I always had trouble with swordtails if I didn't keep a lid on the tank at all times. I never saw what they were up to, but I'd find them on the floor if I left the lid off of the tank for even a little while.

I've seen what are called African Frogs in fish tanks. Little white frogs that stay small and don't leave the water.
