"So yes, in instances I do believe we can preemptively go to the aid of our "neighbors". "nations are made up of individuals."

YOU NEVER ANSWERED EITHER OF MY QUESTIONS!
-------------------------------------------------
To be able to continue this discussion in at least a half-way intelligent manner, you must first explain your terms to me.

1) When you say 'neighbor', are you referring to nations, or individuals?

I.e., when you say we must 'help our neighbors around the world', (by going to war, in this example), are you proposing that we wage war against any or ALL nations in the world as we choose --- even starting preemptive wars when those nations have not attacked us --- or are you referring to individuals?

2) If by 'neighbors' you mean 'nations anywhere', consider this: if two nations, both Democracies for example, wage war against one another... but have not attacked us, do you propose that we 'help' one neighbor by intervening militarily on it's side, against the other, (as opposed to staying out of the conflict), and if so what is the basis for deciding that alignment?

--------------------------------------------------------

We CANNOT continue the previous discussion any further until you define your terms, and explain what the HELL you are trying to say.

OTHER (NEW) TOPIC YOUR POST RAISED:

"IMO, we should have already taken out the corrupt murderous government of Sudan."

I agree.
