SHe was hiding out in the Adirondacks mountains of upstate NY right after her husband's assassination. I saw what I thought was here going into a Dr's office in Saranac Lake, NY. SHe went to see Dr. Francis Trudeau, who was the father of Doonsbury's Gary Trudeau and who was also my family Dr. I was a young gal at the time but remember her walking up the walkway to the Dr's office in her Asian attire. SHe was surrounded by body guards but I was walking by at the time and saw her small figure shuffled out of the limo. The local newspaper also caught wind of her appearance. She was rumored to be staying at the camp of Marjorie Merriweather Post May..........wife of an Ambassador and heir to the Post fortune. Marjorie had an elaborate camp on St. Regis Lake which was accessible only by boat. Many other very wealthy people had camps near there and she could have been at a number of other estates.
