Claude,
Russett forgets all the fables about the little animals who "squirrel" something away for later. I save like mad now because spending money does not bring REAL happiness as Russett claims. I would rather give some to a needy person that brings happiness.

I work hard and save now as I am still only early 50's so I will have plenty to spend and live on later so I don't have to work for the man all my life.

Now Russett no doubt has a silver spoon coming out of all orifices so he may not have to work or save. <g>
Tom

Claude,

Russet appears not to understand that there is a difference between investment and consumption, and which one of these is going on now in the US. Maybe a one-hour course in Economics 101 will straighten him out. I used to appreciate his self-deprecating humor when he signed himself as 'the squished hamster' so I was a bit surprised by the shot he took at you in his last post. Maybe Barrick is not going so well?

Save all you want my friend, but know you can't take any with you.

I do not agree there is a big difference between taking risks to invent and produce, and the risks to consume and enjoy,...one begates the other,...people do both at the same time, or there is no reason to do either.
