Like I said... you didn't go back far enough to my ORIGINAL POST on the thread, where I was clearly talking about the TRADE DEFICIT... largely with ASIA: Message 20808420 (Which makes the other post of yours --- where you sing the hosannas about our 'rising exports to China' sound rather silly: although our exports to China ARE up [from a very low base], THEIRS TO US are up MASSIVELY MORE... leading to their current position --- moving into FIRST PLACE past Japan --- as the one nation with the LARGEST NET TRADE SURPLUS TO US, and accounting for the largest part of our on-going trade deficit from any single trading partner.)
