Hi Chip,

Great idea - I'll do it today.

My thought was watching an index that has lead most of the last year to year and a half:

$rut
$mid

This market strength has been most promineet in small caps.

IBD has detailed their leadership daily for quite a while. The new highs and new lows and advance declines is showing this as well.

These indexes are at all time highs - unlike the NAZ which has a loooong way to go.

Often a leading indicator can give one a look out farther than a short term move (which the spiral gives).

For a trader that is positionally oriented ( myself - perhaps due to a lack of nimbleness) subtle clues of market durability are important.

I've learned to heed GZ's short calls and his cycle timing is most enviable - but still short term trades have given me my greatest trouble and long term buy and hold - the greatest gains.

I'll do my DD and get back.

Thanks

Bob

P.S. Great suggestions
