That is why I was not in an all fired hurry to rip off an e mail to them. Too often there is more to the story then there appears to be as seems to be the case here.

Boston Globe confirmed that Gardner was fired It seems reasonable to assume, even without confirmation, that Gardner was fired. I was hoping to find some confirmation of the suggested nexus between the Time article or the alleged Kerry camp threat and the firing. The article you provided had the additional information of a statement from the company. But there's not much else to support a nexus. There's not even a clear timeline. From the timing information available, though, it seems unlikely that the company could have made a firing decision in the time available. Without further information, the default conclusion has to be coincidence although the scenario is curious enough to spark further inquiries.
