I agree. If the U.S. doesn't get it's butt in gear, we will lose technological superiority, and with that economic superiority, at a startlingly fast rate.

Basically only the top 10k are equivalent to USA, according to people that lived there.

Fraud is a bit more prevalent. Anyone can open up the, "Engineering School of Charm" and get a degree.

Those in the know, will know there's a huge difference between IIT and ITT, etc. etc. Ditto for other countries too.

But your point remains valid - the USA needs to get a move on it, but we're not.

# of engineering students have declined, meanwhile some American's refuse to acknowledge the state of affairs. We are no longer #1 in university research funds according to a google search, I won't bother digging the link up.
