hmmmm again you confused the issues I'm not "defending" Graystone You never get this, but I will try once more. Sometimes, when many people are all behaving badly, there is some principle at stake, that is more important than the individuals involved, or their individual bad behaviors (more important to a particular poster- obviously not more important to everyone, objectively speaking, or we would not be having this conversation for the millionth time yes, that is hyperbole). I don't expect you to get this; I do not beg you to get this: but it would be nice if you could try to see that the defense of individual people really isn't the issue. I know most people defend their "friends" on SI, and are expected to defend them, but that is not what I do- and it is one reason you are mad at me (and yes, I'm inferring anger from all the little snipes you've made, which I've not replied to. Perhaps it is evidence of something else- though I couldn't begin to guess what). Stop Take a breath Think about it I'm not going to argue about this with you. I wasn't going to bring up the past, you did. But you don't understand my motives any better now than you did then- more's the pity.
