I would have to look at the details on the duration of the effect. It seems that if the spray is used on someone infectious, a mask might be more effective than spraying for 6 minutes at regular intervals.

I use 50-50 solution of hydrogen peroxide, by gargling it for 1 to 2 minutes twice a day.
