Ooops!! There were many ties to Al Quaeda as the 9/11 commission reported....just no evidence that Iraq participated in 9/11.....(which the Admin. never claimed). As for WMD, the uncertainty about whether they had been destroyed and whether Saddam would pass them to Al Q. is now a dead issue....and there were several other reasons we went to Iraq.....sounds like your Mom did not pay attention too well......maybe that's why you mistakenly thought the Republicans lied to her.... J.
