The trouble with your thinking is that it isn't grounded in reality. Sure "if" such and such happen sh%t don't matter. Thats the tune Rove played to scare the American public into supporting Bush. But reality is the deficit, the trade imbalance, the flooding of the world with increasingly useless US $$$. Those things are far more likely to actually affect you than bogey-man Saddam or Osama.
