For bush it means nixon goes to china as mqurice alluded to yesterday. But it has to be done without appearing to surrender. Too many on the left want to see bush fail way too much, you not included. Jewel has brought up many useful ideas in his posts to me this afternoon. I think we need to be steely in our determination not to concede one inch to al quaeda but perhaps more like TR in our approach. Mike
