Dave, Neither of us will ever know. War is a nasty business, but someone has to step up and do it. Back when I was young, and gung ho, I wanted to get into the fight, and do my duty in the way I was trained to do, but sometimes the best laid plans of mice and men turn things around. There was really nothing either of us could do about it, but because of that, I have total respect for those that were able to do the job in my place. To fight for this country must be a wonderful feeling of duty well done.
