To call the U.S. colonial is to ignore history. You don't see U.S. soldiers occupying Germany or Japan do you? They attacked us. We fought back and pacified them. Then left. The Muslims attacked us on 9/11. We're fighting back and will continue to do so until they are pacified and then we'll leave. Whether we leave a Democracy behind or an uninhabitable wasteland with only a few people left to inhabit it is up to the Muslims. They need to decide which one they want. Right now, it seems they want a wasteland. And next time, the Muslims need to pick on someone who doesn't fight back, like the French. Most Americans don't know how to appease enemies who attack us.
