"assuming you are saying the religion specific nature of 'christmas' celebrations have no place in publicly subsidized venues"

That's all I am saying. I am especially cautious about a state imprimatur for one particular religion when school is involved, because children legally must be there, and as Dithers has mentioned, children are very impressionable.

edit- and yes- you can call me ion

Hey, Mul,

I;m glad you asked about Ion.
I have thought of calling her Io, but that is the moon of Jupiter and is described as "the most volcanic body known, with lava flows, lava lakes, and giant calderas covering its sulfurous landscape."
Obviously that is just asking for trouble.
Then there is Io(lanthe), the little fairy banished for marrying a mortal, the violet.
Hmmmm.
No.
But ION--
a charged atom.
Yes, that will do.
